63Sometimes you just got to mix the ol' poetry brain up a bit...and see what happens as an end result.
A Mixture of Thoughts…
A message comes from the heart of this writer…
Get out into the midst of it…You are a fighter,
Your outlook on the world can become much lighter,
Though Lady Justice is blind…You will have yours…Despite her.
The point is that a poem has a point or perhaps a plan…
Something that needs to be shared with every man,
All the time…my words come from brain to hand,
So…this poem lands close to where I stand.
Drive into your future…and forget your past…
Leave without warning…while the opportunity lasts,
Shift it into gear…and head out down the road fast,
Ready to live life on the road again…which can be a blast.
Sometimes “Reality” can be a real b_tch…
And force you off the road…and into a ditch…
Turning you over and over…till you don’t know which end is which…
Yet words can right all wrongs to set you straight...What a privilege!
A discouraged mental attitude…is all wrong…
Especially when you don’t have a positive song,
Get out and live…your days aren’t that long,
Whatever doesn’t kill you…makes you strong.
A storm came here…and knocked us back…
Strong winds blew…in the form of an attack,
Shingles and branches were sent flying in the flak,
Secretly…We all knew its’ exact track.
Forget all your worries and stay awhile…
It will work out…I tell you with a smile,
Poems forged by fire here on Earth…after many a trial,
Are given true wisdom conveyed through a poetry style.
You may not understand this mixture of thoughts that I say?
Perhaps you will get the message…Some time…Some way…
So ends this mixture of my thoughts for today…
Press on…Manly Poetry Man…Move forward without delay!
Yet I say...
A purpose without an intention…
A thought given that I won’t mention,
A crowd stands up without a petition,
And recites a mandate with a whole new rendition…

Hello Mighty Mom: Yes...A Hodgepodge it is...set to all the fastest speeds of the most powerful blender...where all thoughts can be weighed and tested...and where the lesser thoughts all turn to slush! Thank you for reading and writing on this whipped and chopped mixture!
hahaha that is amazing man i wish i could write my stuff like that..... normally im frightened to post my poems that are.... more.... well just i guess i don't know but yeah.... i guess i should put one of my happy poems up and hope people don't think of it as silly... i LOVED the poem by the way and that is very true about what poetry does to the mind
